Who will deliver the objectives of the Marine Bill ?
The Government intends to set up a new Marine Management Organisation (MMO) to deliver many of the objectives for the marine area.
The new organisation will be a centre of marine expertise, provide a consistent and unified approach, deliver improved coordination of information and data and reduce administrative burdens.
Key benefits of the Marine Bill - It is hoped that the Marine Bill will create a new marine planning and management framework that balances the need for wildlife protection with the requirements of industry around our coasts.
